THE ALTERATION OF THE LIVING TREND OR READJUSTMENT OF THE CITY?
The basis of the design is derived from the essence of the city’s reality with particular recognition of the city itself and the city fabric.
The proposal re-organizes the city potentials as it’s been the consequent of the historical development.
Our strategy is the stretched link idea which is a flexible structure, the grid which has penetrated within the city fabric and has created the linking loop of the city, sea and the coast line.
In this strategy, the potential points of the existing situation are recognized and the new points are suggested, so with moving within these points other special spaces are obtained as everything is stretchable the program, structure, and the design.
Because of the self organized character of the structure, the functional program is variable and re-adjustable according to the people’s requirements, politician’s decisions and suggestions are information that when given to this proposed machinery change the structure and adjust another stable situation. Technically the change is balanced by the system.
